Our story begins in November 1996, when four people affected by NF2 and one affected by NF1 formed the Neurofibromatosis Mutual Aid Group (GAM Nefi) to support each other. Soon after, they saw the need for an organization that could represent and give a voice to those affected and affected by the NF.
