The Pasqual Maragall Foundation for Research on Alzheimer’s was born in April 2008, the result of the public commitment of Pasqual Maragall, former mayor of Barcelona and president of the Generalitat of Catalonia, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
At the Pasqual Maragall Foundation for Research on Alzheimer’s, we work to overcome this disease and achieve a future in which aging is associated with positive experiences.
- We dream of a future without Alzheimer’s in which to grow older is another stage of life, with fullness to enjoy it.
- We bet for the prevention of the disease and for the improvement of the quality of life of patients and caregivers.
